Today was surprisingly okay. Finally, the music has stopped. Last night, my husband called the police and heard that someone else had called earlier, too. This morning they still played music, but only momentarily. I guess the ceremony was done then.

The Chinese New Year ceremony at my house also went well, and I received red envelopes from MIL and my husband. I finally could enjoy my peaceful afternoon nap after three days of suffering. My dogs were so excited about the boiled chicken.

My condition was better today. I hope I can get back to my workout routine tomorrow. I still think that the new medication isn’t working well enough.

I probably won’t be able to fall asleep tonight as I took a very long nap during the day, but I was so exhausted. I didn’t do anything much today. I’m still recovering, I think.

My book sales are doing better than I expected. Maybe it’s because I expected nothing from it. That’s the power of expectation. It can really hurt you.

Today, I’m grateful for my life and security.
